Nominations Announced for ASA Officers The ASA Nominations committee has announced its official nominations for 2010. Current ASA Vice-President Patrick Bridger (Allentown Shotcrete Technology, Inc.) has been nominated to serve as President of the American Shotcrete Association. Current Secretary Joe Hutter (King Packaged Materials Co.) has been nominated to serve as ASA Vice-President. Both Positions are two year terms. Current Treasurer Michael Cotter (formerly of American Underground Engineering and currently a shotcrete hydro demolition consultant) has been nominated to serve as ASA Secretary. Ted Sofis (Sofis Company) has been nominated to serve as ASA Treasurer. Both Positions are one year terms. The Nominations committee also recommended three individuals to serve 3 year terms on the ASA Board of Direction. The three individuals are Ray Schallom (Allentown Shotcrete Technology, Inc.), Tom Norman (Airplaco Equipment Co.), and Ron Lacher (Pool Engineering Inc.). Membership balloting will take place later this year and all elected officers will begin their term of service at the 2010 Annual Meeting held in conjunction with the World of Concrete in Las Vegas Nevada. This year’s Annual Meeting and Award Banquet will be held at the Monte Carlo Resort on February 2, 2010.
