Design of a Special Unbonded Post-Tensioned Precast Concrete Shear Wall
This standard defines procedures that may be used to design special precast concrete shear walls, coupled or uncoupled, composed of discretely jointed precast panels that are vertically post-tensioned to the foundation with unbonded tendons. Such walls are suitable for use in regions of high seismicity and for structures assigned to high seismic design categories. The standard consists of Design Requirements and a Commentary. Green building and sustainable design are trends that are here to stay. If you are in any profession linked to new buildings or existing buildings it will become harder to compete if you are not current with the trends.
CleanEdison offers courses in LEED Green Associate, Operations and Maintenance, Building Design and Construction, and LEED for Homes to corporations and individuals Nationwide, as seen in the Wall Street Journal, Good Morning America, The New York Times and ABC News.
The City of Pasadena, California requires privately owned buildings to achieve LEED certification and LEED Silver certification for municipal buildings with 5,000 square feet or more of new construction.
In Boston, Massachusetts, all new buildings of more than 50,000 square feet are now required to adhere to LEED standards.
Austin, TX now requires sellers of residential, multi-family and commercial properties to complete an energy audit and disclose the findings to prospective homebuyers.
